Bradley Davis
CIO and Portfolio Manager

Bradley founded Otira Capital in 2017 to provide investors with an opportunity to gain exposure to the some of the best founder-led businesses across key developed markets. Bradley believes that small and mid-sized companies offer the best opportunities to exploit market efficiencies and generate strong performance over the long-term.

Bradley has over 20 years of global equities experience across a diverse range of industries and continents. This experience includes 7 years at Merrill Lynch in New York, where Bradley was an Equity Research Analyst focusing on transportation companies. Bradley was made Vice President at Merrill Lynch during his tenure.

Upon his return to Australia in 2007, Bradley was a Senior Research Analyst at Merricks Capital, Melbourne, before moving on to become a Senior Portfolio Manager at River Capital, where he focused on global equities until 2017.

Bradley’s performance track record across these firms has established him as a trusted and highly regarded global equities manager. 

Outside of his professional career, Bradley has served on the Investment Committee of the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, and was a long serving Trustee for the Reichstein Foundation.

Alex Woolford
Portfolio Analyst

Alex is a Portfolio Analyst for Otira Capital with a focus on US and European equities.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne with degrees in law and science, Alex has over 8 years of experience investing in global equities. Alex started his career at Portland House Group as a member of their long/short fund where he invested in North American and European equities.

Alex has expertise in small and mid-cap equities with a heavy focus on primary research, extensive financial modelling, and company valuation.

Alex also spent a few years working on a start-up in the logistics industry where he developed a deep understanding of industrial services businesses including trucking, warehousing and third-party logistics operators.
